The Great Depression and the New Deal
The Great Depression took jobs away from normal people when World War II, gave many men and women jobs. The Great Depression lasted from 1929-1941, through all of the relief programs that were created, war was the only thing that could bring America back. Great Depression and World War II redefined the role of government in American society by making American step up and do their part.
